| Sumario: | In the digital medium photographic aesthetics, in a certain way, set up a collage through form. In which a discourse is articulated through fragments of other images, and it is understood as a manifestation of postmodern culture. Despite the fact that, due to technological development, the way in which a photographic image is produced and edited has changed, it still depends on an apparatus and the person who manipulates it objectively. Then, a digital image which is conceived as a technical image, seems like a photograph, because the image that is produced by an apparatus not only depends on the technical specificities of the medium but also on the gesture and intention projected. Therefore, with the development of digital media the character of appropriation and also of intervention are reaffirmed in postmodern art. Therefore, any digital medium, through the production of images that are distinguished by an aesthetic intention, is consolidated as a media of expression as is the case of Art Salad's artwork. |
