| description | This thesis raises as a theme for research the relation with which pre exists in the rehabilitation of buildings by Enric Miralles in urban contexts historically compromised, considering as a starting point the descriptions of the emergent impressions of four of his works as precursor signs. Thus, it learns inquiring into the aspects of a conception, as a consequence of a different way of comprehending time, history and the architectural practice related to heritage, opposite to what is suggested within a conservation field, according to which the problem is more centered in a relation designed in terms of discontinuity and division. From that point onwards, it is proposed to finish establishing the relation with which pre exists in this type of contexts of the work, understanding the aspects which temporal proof and spatial reach constitute its expressive advent, eventually assesing its articulation in a definition. It is held, then, as a hypothesis, that this conception is that which, from the point of view of its temporality, in terms of the duration, will allow learning a relation with that which pre exists which is not understood as the interaction between new and old parts but as a continuous and indivisible part, understanding the aspects underpinning its origin, materialization, modes of relating work and articulation. Finally, the contribution to this notion is composed by a theoretical part, as a methodological way of approximation and practical aspects which serve to the project based range related to the conservation of the heritage. |
